CIMRM 72 - Inscription. Sahin

From: E. Renan, Mission de Phénicie, p.103.

The location of this inscription is not clear. The village is east of Tartus, on the Mediterranean coast of Syria. The town of Safita may be found on maps of Syria, and the village of Hebbé mentioned is presumably in that area. Unfortunately I have been unable to locate any village named Sahin, nor a district named Khouabé.

Cumont adds (vol. 2, p.92) that if the year kf' is in the Seleucid era (starts 312 BC) then the inscription dates to 208 A.D.
