Dr Alcock has kindly sent over two new translations in the last week. I am too busy to do them justice, but I am glad to make them available here:
- Bardaisan Laws of Countries_Alcock_2018 (PDF) – Translation from the French of Bardaisan’s Book of the Laws of the Countries.
- Frumentius, Athanasius and Constantius_Alcock_2018 (PDF) – Two letters about the creation of the church of Ethiopia.
Thank you, Dr. A.

Thank you for relating Constantius’ letter here.
For those interested in the Eunomian / Arian historiography, which has survived past Constantius and Valens, Philostorgius may be read at tertullian.org.
I do not take a side. (Well … I do. I am a Catholic, or at least pro-Nicaean, so on Rufinius’ and Athanasius’ side. But I haven’t taken a side on the historical claims made between Rufinius and Philostorgius.)
